Based in Crișan, in the heart of the Danube Delta, the Rowmania Ecotourism Center offers day trips or multi-day paddling tour packages or tours tailored to your convenience and schedule, guided or self-guided, with our assistance in choosing the best route, transport, accommodation or eating arrangements.

Who are we?
The Slow Tourism Company (STC)
is a social enterprise, a partnership between the Association of Ecotourism in Romania and the Ivan Patzaichin – Mila 23 Association, using tourism as a tool for local development and nature conservation.

The Association of Ecotourism in Romania (AER)
The Association of Ecotourism in Romania (AER) has achieved a partnership for nature conservation and tourism development among tourist operators, tourist associations, non-governmental associations acting in local development and nature conservation and nature conservation projectsbringing together the public and the private sector in a partnership for nature conservation and sustainable tourism development.
AER has been active for a decade, both in creating new ecotourist products and in promoting them.

Ivan Patzaichin –  Mila 23 Association
The Ivan Patzaichin – Mila 23 Association is named after Romanian olympic canoe legend Ivan Patzaichin and his home village, Mila 23, in Danube Delta, and takes on the mission to offer the Delta and its inhabitants the attention they need in order to preserve their traditions and protect a pristine habitat.
The association aims to preserve the natural and cultural biodiversity of water areas in Romania. To this end, besides designing the Rowmania movement, it endorses social entrepreneurship programs that support, through know-how and investments, the Danube Delta as well as other natural parks in Romania.
